Charter is Magna Housing Group's development company. Contracts with developers and house builders to provide quality and affordable housing for local people across the South West of England for Magna are routed via Charter.

When purchasing a shared ownership home via Charter you buy a share (usually 40 or 50%) and rent the remaining share from our sister companies, Magna Housing Association or Magna West Somerset Housing Association depending where your home is located. 

As well as providing development services for Magna and shared ownership homes for first time buyers in partnership with local organisations, Charter has built open market housing.
